It’s 3 o’clock in the morning!

Life is too short for bad coffee.

Multiple Choice Friday

So. I have been debating whether or not to shave off my beard. Don’t get me wrong, I love facial hair… It’s just that I’ve had it for a while, and it’s summer, and I don’t know if a change would be fun or not…

So what do you think? Should I shave?

This took my breath away. It took quite a bit to keep from crying like a baby at the sheer beauty of it…

Watch. Listen. Be amazed.

I’ve come to realize…

19 June, 2008 (1:04am) | I've come to realize... | No comments

I’ve come to realize that I hate it when people don’t understand the right of way law.

Ok, fine, I didn’t JUST come to realize that. I’ve always KNOWN it. But seriously! How hard is it? The person on the right… HAS THE RIGHT OF WAY!!! Now don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t bother me TOO much when people go out of turn.. I mean, it’s dangerous, yeah… but what REALLY gets under my skin is when people are all like, “no, you go. I just want to sit here and piss people off. THAT IS MY GOAL IN LIFE.” COME ON!! One thing a lot of people don’t understand is that the Right of Way law doesn’t say who GETS to go, but rather, who DOESN’T. It doesn’t say that this person has the undeniable RIGHT to go before the other person. It says that I will be BREAKING THE LAW if I go, and you won’t, so you should GO, eh? It’s kinda like freedom. Everyone gets so up in arms about their rights, when really, NOTHING says that you DESERVE to be able to *fill in the blank*. It just says that you have the FREEDOM to do it, if you wish to. For instance, we don’t have the RIGHT to free speech, we have the PRIVILEDGE. Understand that, and you will make it far in life. AND YOU WON’T PISS EVERYONE OFF.

One of these days, I will learn how to shop for groceries.

18 June, 2008 (11:33am) | Blog | 2 comments

So, I am housesiting for another week and a half, and I am at the point where I think I might need to buy more food. I don’t really want to just get stuff to make more bagels and quesadillas. I also don’t want to get a whole bunch of fancy food that takes a long time to make, and will still be here when I leave. Does anyone have any suggestions? What type of things could I buy to help me make a variety of foods that are not all microwave diners? (Not that I have a problem with that…)

The playlist didn’t show up in my feed

17 June, 2008 (8:48pm) | Blog | 1 comment

So, in case you read my blog through a feed reader, I just wanted to point out that I put a little thingy with a bunch of cool songs at the end of my last post, but it didn’t make it to the feed. So if you want to listen to some music, click here.

Hey guys! How’s it going? It’s been a couple days since I’ve posted anything.. my bad. Anyhoo, I figured, since so many other people have done it, I’d do the classic search keyword post. Guess what I discovered? No, guess. Come on! Oh, fine. You’re no fun. I’ll just tell you. I HAVE NOTHING INTERESTING TO POST. Yeah. All the search terms were either titles of ast posts, or variations on the phrase “It’s 3 o’clock in the morning!” One of the variations was “it’s five o’clock in the morning”. What is this? How come everyone else gets the crazy insane keywords, and all I get is exactly what you would expect? Maybe that means I’m getting popular and people are looking for me! Maybe! Yes? No? I didn’t think so either. Phooey.

In other news, I have decided that I want to read Hamster Huey and the Gooey Kablooey. Not the fake one that was probably inspired my Calvin and Hobbes, but the non-existent one that is yet to be written by Bill Waterson.

Also, I made a playlist of awesome songs.

I’ve come to realize…

13 June, 2008 (4:27pm) | I've come to realize... | 3 comments

I’ve come to realize that working out is something that I don’t do enough of. For now.

I just can’t seem to get myself to do anything regularly. I don’t really want to get a membership to a gym, because I know I’ll never go. I think for now, I would be satisfied with convincing myself to go running before work every day. Even just around the block. But noooooo, of course, God forbid, I am actually able to do something I set out to do. *sigh*. One these days it will happen. And I will be jumping and leaping and praising God! Literally.

Multiple Choice Friday

13 June, 2008 (7:09am) | Multiple Choice Friday | 2 comments

For the past couple years, I have been working full time, nonstop. At first, I was working a mix of two part time jobs that equaled a full time job (but with more stress.. or at least a different kind). After a couple months, I quit the one job (at a coffee shop) and started full time at my current job. I can’t even begin to tell you how much I would love to have a part time job. To actually have time to do the things I want to do. Be able to go on spur of the moment trips without having to worry about work, cause I don’t work for the next four days… ah, that would be the life… So what about you guys? How many hours a week do you work?

Leave a comment letting us know what your job is, too.

Today is my last day at work

12 June, 2008 (7:54am) | Blog | 6 comments

At least, for a couple weeks. I am taking over my friends online business tomorrow while he and his family fly to the Dominican Republic. Check his blog out at To See The Glory. Anyhoo, I’m not going to be at my regular work for about two weeks. I’m sorta stressing about all the projects I’ve been working on that are still in production.. I can only hope that God will have it all under control. Of course, the upside is that I don’t have to pay attention to all those projects anymore! Woohoo!!

No more late night slurpee runs for me…

11 June, 2008 (3:33pm) | Blog | No comments

So, apparently it’s not good to eat sugar right before going to bed. I guess it disrupts your body’s production of growth hormones, a lack of which can cause all sorts of hellish nightmares. (Not like actual nightmares, but living, waking, breathing, this-is-actually-happening-to-me nightmares.) Who’da thunk it?
