Caramelized Shots

I just discovered this new thing a couple weeks ago called caramelized shots. What you do is you add a packet of raw sugar to the ground in the portafilter and run the shots through that. It gives them a naturally sweetened taste without masking the rich coffee flavor. They’re best when you just drink the straight shots. Mmmmmmm….. I’m gonna go make one right now…

How long have you been making coffee? When you pull a shot like that it’s called a “Cubano.”
