I lived in OR for 29 years and even own a home on Burnside and never took the time to help the homeless people there. This sounds like a great organization to partner with. Thanks!

Thank you for sharing about Bridgetown. I volunteer with a couple of homeless organizations here and it is always great to see what others are doing and see if we can add those things.

When I was up in Portland last year, I heard about this group and the effect they have on the streets. It’s good to know in the midst of everything around us that there are those noticing people right next door to them.

Thanks for talking about Bridgetown. It sounds like a great ministry. Your mention of the need of socks reminded me of a trip my college group made to downtown Houston, handing out new underwear to the homeless. Some of them had not had clean underwear, or even any underwear at all, in years. Such a little thing we take for granted can be such a big blessing to others.

I’ll be praying for you today, and for Bridgetown.
